What happens if I fail my exams or drop out — can I stay in Israel?
Your A/2 visa is tied to your active enrollment in a recognized program. If you withdraw, are dismissed, or otherwise stop being a registered student, the basis for your visa no longer exists. You are legally required to depart Israel or obtain a different type of status before your current visa expires. Your institution will generally notify the Population and Immigration Authority of changes in enrollment status, so continued presence in Israel after leaving your program carries real legal risk.
