Immigration & Aliyah
How long does the Aliyah process take?
Processing times vary by country of origin and application volume at the Jewish Agency. From initial application to receiving your Aliyah visa, the process typically takes three to six months for straightforward cases. Once you arrive in Israel, you receive your Oleh certificate and temporary identity card immediately. More complex cases, particularly those relying on the grandchild clause with limited documentation, can take considerably longer.
