Can I be deported from Israel because of a criminal conviction abroad?

A foreign criminal conviction discovered after you have already been granted status in Israel can be grounds for revocation of your visa or residency, and potentially deportation, under Section 13 of the Entry into Israel Law 5712-1952. This is especially true if the conviction was concealed on your application. Undisclosed criminal history that later comes to light is treated far more seriously than properly disclosed offenses.
