Debt Collection
Who pays the receiver's fees in Israel?
The receiver's fees and expenses are paid out of the proceeds of the assets managed or sold, before the net proceeds are distributed to the creditor. If the assets are insufficient to cover both the receiver's fees and the full debt, the creditor receives less than the full judgment amount. In some cases, the court will order the debtor to advance receiver's costs or require the creditor to pay an initial deposit against the receiver's fees as a condition of appointment.
