Who is the Guardian General in Israel?

The Guardian General (HaApotropus HaKlali) is a government official within the Ministry of Justice. The Guardian General oversees all guardianship arrangements in Israel, acts as default guardian when no suitable private guardian is available, and supervises appointed guardians to protect wards' interests.
