What happens if the other parent refuses to comply with a modified child support order in Israel?

The Execution Office (Lishkat HaHotzaa L'Poal) enforces all money orders made by the Family Court, including revised support amounts. Enforcement tools include wage garnishment, bank account freezing, asset seizure, cancellation of driver's licence, and a stay-of-exit order preventing the debtor from leaving Israel. Persistent non-payment can lead to committal of up to 21 days. The National Insurance Institute (NII / Bituach Leumi) can also advance payments to the custodial parent and then pursue the defaulting parent directly under Section 122 of the National Insurance Law 5754-1994.
