What happens if my abuser violates the protection order?

Violation of a protection order is a criminal offence. You should call the police immediately. The abuser can be arrested, prosecuted, and imprisoned for breaching the order. Keep a record of any violations (screenshots of messages, dates and times of incidents) to provide to the police.
