I obtained a judgment just before the insolvency order — does it give me priority?

Not necessarily. A judgment gives you a proven, quantified claim but does not by itself give you priority over other unsecured creditors in the insolvency. However, if you also obtained an attachment order over specific assets before the insolvency, you may have a form of security interest over those assets. This requires careful legal analysis.
