Debt Collection
How do I file a winding-up petition against an Israeli company?
A winding-up petition is filed in the District Court (the Economic Affairs Court). You must first serve a formal demand for payment of a debt exceeding NIS 10,000 and wait 21 days. If the company fails to pay or contest the debt, you can petition the court for a winding-up order. An Israeli attorney is required to file the petition.
