A broad power of attorney signed before an Israeli notary or Israeli consulate abroad can authorize your representative to sign leases, collect rent, negotiate with contractors, and litigate on your behalf. For Land Registry property transfers, a POA signed before an Israeli notary or an Israeli consul needs no apostille for use in Israel; a POA signed before a local notary abroad needs an apostille from that country, or consular legalization if the country is not a Hague Convention member. Always have an Israeli attorney draft the POA rather than using a generic template.
