Debt Collection
Can I sue in Israel in English?
No. Israeli court proceedings are conducted in Hebrew. All documents must be filed in Hebrew. A foreign creditor must engage a licensed Israeli attorney to file and conduct the proceedings. Evidence originally in English may be admitted with a certified Hebrew translation.
