Can a minor child legally own property in Israel?

Yes. There is no restriction in Israeli law on a minor owning property. A child can be registered as the owner of Israeli real estate at the Land Registry (Tabu) and can hold bank accounts, securities, and other assets in their own name. The limitation is that the minor cannot independently manage or deal with that property — all significant actions require guardians and, for major transactions, court approval.
