Inheritance & Probate

Can a creditor come after me personally for an inherited Israeli property?

Generally no, once the estate has been properly administered and debts settled before distribution. However, if property was transferred to you before creditors were paid — for example, through informal arrangements bypassing the probate process — creditors may have grounds to challenge the transfer. This is why following the formal estate administration process matters: it protects heirs as well as creditors.
