Family Law
At what age can a child decide where to live in Israel?
There is no fixed age. Courts give increasing weight to the child's preferences as they mature. From around age 10–12, the child's own views become a significant factor. By mid-teenage years, courts are unlikely to impose an arrangement against a capable teenager's clearly expressed wishes.
