What is Form 1301 and who uses it?

Form 1301 (Doch Mas Hachnasah) is the main annual individual income tax return in Israel. It is used by self-employed individuals, business owners, company directors, investors, and anyone with multiple income sources. Employees whose only income comes from a single Israeli employer and whose employer withholds all tax correctly through the payroll system generally do not need to file a 1301 unless they have other income or exceed the high-earner threshold of approximately NIS 651,600 per year.
