Arbitration

What if my Israeli insurer refuses to pay after losing the arbitration?

An arbitration award issued in Israel must be confirmed by the relevant district court. Once confirmed, it has the same legal force as a court judgment and can be enforced through Israel's Execution Office. Enforcement tools include bank account attachment, seizure of assets, and orders restricting the insurer's business. Insurers rarely resist confirmed awards given the regulatory consequences of non-compliance.
