What constitutes "sensitive information" under Israeli law?

The Privacy Protection Law defines sensitive data to include information about a person's personality, intimate affairs, health or medical condition, financial situation (beyond basic contact details), criminal record, political or religious beliefs, and membership of organisations. Any database containing sensitive information about any number of people must be registered with the PPA — there is no minimum threshold for sensitive data registration, unlike the 10,000-person threshold for general databases.
