Arbitration

What changed when Israel adopted the new arbitration law in 2024?

The International Commercial Arbitration Law 2024 replaced the Arbitration Law 1968 for cross-border disputes. The key change is the adoption of the UNCITRAL Model Law, which brings Israel in line with over 80 countries. Israeli courts now have significantly narrower grounds to intervene in or set aside international arbitral awards, making Israel a more predictable and internationally competitive arbitration seat.
