What are Israeli directors' duties when a company is insolvent?
When an Israeli company is insolvent or in the vicinity of insolvency, directors' duties shift to include the interests of creditors. Directors must not take on new obligations they do not expect to be able to meet, must not prefer certain creditors over others without court approval, and must not dissipate company assets.
