Does Israel accept apostilles from all countries?
Israel accepts apostilles from all countries that have signed the Hague Apostille Convention of 1961. Israel itself acceded to the Convention in 1978. For documents from non-member countries such as many Gulf states and several African countries, full consular legalization is required instead: the document is authenticated by the issuing country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, then legalized at the Israeli embassy or consulate in that country.
