Can I file my Israeli tax return in English?
The ITA's official Form 1301 and the Shaam online portal are in Hebrew only. Supporting documents such as foreign bank statements, overseas pay slips, and property deeds may be submitted in English with a Hebrew translation where specifically required. Most new immigrants and foreign nationals engage a local accountant (ro'eh heshbon) or tax adviser to handle the Hebrew-language filing on their behalf.
