Arbitration
Can I choose a foreign institution (ICC, LCIA) for arbitration with an Israeli party?
Yes. Party autonomy is a cornerstone of the 2024 Law. Parties are free to select any arbitral institution — ICC, LCIA, AAA, ICSID, or any other — and to seat the arbitration in Israel or in a foreign jurisdiction. The Israeli courts will respect the parties' chosen institution and rules as long as the arbitration agreement is valid and covers the dispute.
